Black Flash Will Be Appearing Across Multiple CW DC Shows

Ever since we saw Hunter Zolomon turned into the deformity that resembled the Black Flash in the season 2 finale, fans have been wondering if we’d see his return. Now, during the Television Critics Association Press Tour, EP Andrew Kreisburg has confirmed this:

“You might be seeing him on multiple shows. He will [be] the classic comic book Grim Reaper aspect. It’s just going to be on multiple shows. He’s a classic character and we have storylines on multiple shows that fit having him return. There’s something so scary about him, even scarier than when he was just a man because now he is the Grim Reaper, he is like the Devil. How do you stop the Devil? It presents an interesting challenge for the heroes of the respective shows in which he appears.”

Of course the character will come back to Flash to continue his quest to eliminate Barry, but what will he be doing on the other shows? It’s hard to speculate just yet seeing as the shows haven’t even been mentioned by name, though it’s safe to assume it will be on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow (probably not Supergirl, as that would take a lot more explanation for crossing over as opposed to the other two which reside in the same universe). It is also interesting that Kreisburg compared him to the devil; as if he wasn’t creepy enough when he was a man, one can only imagine what’s in store when he returns.

The Flash returns on Tuesday January 23rd.

what do you guys think? How will Black Flash turn up in shows outside Flash? How will Barry handle him on top of Savitar? Let us know in the comments as well as on our Twitter and Instagram!
