With all of the films coming out in the next few years, Marvel production teams are going to be very busy. As of now there are at least 4 different films coming out. And if you weren’t in the know, most major films always film under a different production title for various reasons. The Defenders, for example, has been filming in New York City as Group Therapy, a neat little change to the title the 2012 Avengers movie used, Group Hug.
Revealed by Production Weekly, Marvel has set production titles for the three projects moving forward this winter. Black Panther, filming in Atlanta later this month, is being filmed under the name Motherland. Runaways, recently started filming in Los Angeles in February, will be known as Rugrats. Cloak & Dagger, which was also just set to start filming in February in New Orleans, will operate under the name Shadows.
Marvel is known for their secrecy around their projects, and the titles given to the films will help keep all of the important details out of the news. We do anticipate, however, learning more about these films a little more, and official news, over the next two months.
