Tomb Raider is one of the most popular video games of the past decade, and it is one of many video games to get a big screen adaptation. The game series had two movies in the early 2000’s, both of which did not do well with critics, so Roar Uthaug, the director of the film, will definitely be looking to break the video game movie curse.
At least from what we’ve seen, this movie looks great. They have academy award winning actress Alicia Vikander, and they have just now added experienced actor Walter Goggins, who is best known for his work in Django Unchained, and hit TV Show Justified.

We don’t have too many details, but we do know that he will be in a villainous role, opposite Alicia’s Lara Croft. In addition to this it looks like Walter will be raiding tombs either opposite Lara, or possibly with Lara.

Hopefully Roar, Alicia, and Goggins can finally break the video game curse that fans hate ever so much. What do you think Goggins’ role is? Do you think the new Tomb Raider reboot will be good? Let discuss in the comments or on our twitter @ComicDrops!
