The upcoming Ben Affleck directed The Batman has not only been said to start production this spring, but it has also been reported that the film will reportedly film in Los Angeles, California.
Sources tell Batman On Film that it will most likely film in Warner Bros. studios in Burbank. Affleck will probably film the movie on location around the city, like Christopher Nolan did with his Dark Knight trilogy. Part of 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises was filmed in Los Angeles. A lot of the recent Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice was filmed around Detroit, Michigan.
Affleck has said the script is still being worked on, and if the script isn’t up to his standards he will not direct it. The film as of right now is supposed to be coming out sometime in 2018, with production supposedly starting this spring.
The film so far stars Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Joe Manganiello as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon. More announcements about this movie will come soon.
