Rachel Talalay Wants To Direct A ‘Star Wars’ Movie

The Star Wars franchise is exponentially growing year by year, with their main episodes, and also their brand new anthology films, there will be a lot of action coming up. Many different directors have voiced their interest in directing a Star Wars film, and one of the newer additions to that list is the highly experienced american director and producer, Rachel Talalay.

We learned that she was interested in a recent interview with CinemaBlend, where she was asked a variety of questions regarding geek culture, and one of these questions was asking if she would be interested in directing a Star Wars movie.

“Absolutely. Are you kidding me? Absolutely. Do I not have enough effects experience and enough nerd pedigree? I think not just Tank Girl but I think Doctor Who in terms of science fiction scope, effects scope, iconic projects, love of science fiction, all of the above. It would be incredible to be involved in one of those projects.”

Despite the fact that Han Solo, Episode VIII, and Episode IX already have directors, it is still definitely possible for Rachel to direct one of the upcoming anthology films. These rumored films include Obi-Wan, Boba Fett, and Darth Vader, all of which are still without a director.

Do you want Rachel to direct a Star Wars movie? Which anthology films do you want to see? Let us know in the comments or on our twitter@ComicDrops!
