Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin was a major highlight of season one of Marvel’s Daredevil and is one of the best villains the MCU has seen so far. As such, fans want him to appear as often as possible, and some recently took to Twitter to ask D’Onofrio about possible future MCU appearances.
The first project that comes to mind is obviously the next Netflix show that includes Daredevil: Marvel’s The Defenders. When asked if Kingpin will be part of that show, the actor’s response was abundantly clear:
Another fan then asked about Spider-Man: Homecoming – but D’Onofrio gave the same answer.
D’Onofrio later clarified that while he technically could appear in an MCU movie, it is hard to do due to the sheer amount of characters already involved with the movies (which is the same answer we always get when anyone affiliated with Marvel TV is asked about crossovers).
That I doubt.Seems to be so many characters in the film uni to service. The films are already jam packed. https://t.co/q2YyCIpynH

I’m very sure we will see Kingpin again, given his brief but memorable interaction with the Punisher in Daredevil‘s season two. If I had to guess, I’d say an appearance in either the third season of Daredevil or the first season of The Punisher is very likely.
