‘Black Panther’ Production Start Date Revealed

Since it was announced that Black Panther was getting his own movie, fans rejoiced over Marvels decision to see him on the big screen. Location Vacations has revealed that Black Panther will begin filming January 15, 2017 in Atlanta, GA. The production will use Pinewood Atlanta Studios to set as a home base during filming.

During a casting call for Tammy Smith Casting, there was a need for for MMA-style fighters, drummers, and extras that know tactical weapons experience. While it’s not known what the movie will be about, Lupita N’yongo gave fans a small idea of whats to come:

”The story of this Black Panther – what I am allowed to say – is that Black Panther’s leadership has been threatened by two foes who come together, and so Black Panther gets the help of the C.I.A. and the Dora Milaje to try and defeat the enemy.”

Black Panther will be directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed) and Chadwick Boseman will continue to play the title character. The film also stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Daniel Kaluuya, and Winston Duke. See the movie in theaters February 16, 2018.
