Josh McDermitt Sheds Some Light On ‘The Walking Dead’ Mid-Season Finale

The Walking Dead arrived this season with a head-splitter of a premiere (sorry for the pun), and continued on there season with some pretty quality episodes, despite some mumbling from fans who want excitement at all time. I’ve personally loved every episode so far, and hope that I can say with confidence that everyone has enjoyed Negan this season. With the mid-season finale coming tomorrow night for our consumption, Josh McDermitt, or Eugene from the show, has brought us taste of what we can expect from the final episode of 2016.

Last week, Carl got caught, and Negan took the opportunity to show him the ropes on what goes on at the Savior’s place, ending the episode with an impromtpu visit at Alexandria. Next episode seems to be one that will be showing us the crying/shock Rick face, which means that something horribly wrong will be going down. Negan in Alexandria has changed a lot of things for the people there, and will continue to do so, according to McDermitt.

“We certainly end the midseason with a bang. The wolf is in the hen house. I think the phrase is ‘fox in the hen house,’ but Negan is very much a wolf. I would not call him a fox. The way the last episode ended, with him holding baby Judith, is pretty disgusting, and we’re gonna pick up shortly after that and see what goes down. You know, Rick right now is not in Alexandria. He’s off on a supply run or something with Aaron, so we’re gonna see more of that and what happens there. And hopefully, he can make it back to Alexandria in time to see Negan basically becoming the adoptive father to baby Judith and Carl. And everything is going to do go down in Alexandria.”

Everything’s going to go down?! Someone please hold me while I cry and shake until I watch tomorrow’s episode and then cry some more. Actually don’t I’ll be fine, I’ll be fine. What about you? How excited are you to see tomorrow’s reportedly explosive episode? Let us know in the comment section down below, or on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook!
