Marvel Is Debuting A “Special Teaser” After ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Tonight

Last week, Marvel debuted the first look at Spider-Man: Homecoming during their panel at CCXP Brazil, and since then, Marvel fans, and fans of the web-crawler have been on the edge of their seats awaiting word on when those not in attendance at the convention would be able to join in on the action.

Natalia Cordova-Buckley, who plays Yo-Yo Rodriguez on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. teased yesterday via her Twitter that Marvel has something up their sleeve after the conclusion of S.H.I.E.L.D‘s fall finale tonight.

Could this be the Homecoming teaser fans have been waiting for? Unfortunately not, Spidey fans, as the actress debunked this theory as well:

It could be misdirection, but if it truly were a Spider-Man: Homecoming teaser, Marvel would’ve made some sort of announcement. So now the speculation begins: what’s the teaser going to be? Honestly, it’s hard to say, especially with the Guardians 2 trailer having just come out a few days ago. Perhaps Marvel is showing off Iron Fist footage to coincide with the new images of the upcoming Netflix series that were released this morning? What about Inhumans, Marvel’s most recently announced series coming to ABC?

Although it might be a longshot considering the show has yet to begin production, the teaser might go a long way by showing off the show’s official logo, as a way of informing fans not active on social media that an Inhumans show is on the way. Plus, the Inhumans have played a huge part in AoS since season 2, so it wouldn’t feel out of place.

The fall finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premieres tonight at 10/9c on ABC.
