Alan Tudyk Wants To Join The MCU In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’

Alan Tudyk is a very well-versed actor; his voice work appears in many Disney animated films, and now is lending his voice to the character of K-2S0 in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Screen Rant got an interview with the actor who has expressed interest in joining the MCU:

Rob Keyes: “You’ve done lots of animated films for Disney, and now Star Wars as well so you’re IN the Disney family. How do we get you in a Marvel movie and who would you play?”

Alan Tudyk: “I don’t know how we get me in a Marvel movie… I’m open to suggestions (laughs*). I’d love something in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. They’re so much fun. I wouldn’t expect any less from James Gunn. He’s a perfect fit for those movies. So one of those would be great. I don’t see myself as a superhero by any stretch. I haven’t read one that I’m like, ‘That’s who I’d be!'”

Rob Keyes: “We wanted you for Ant-Man way back when…”

Alan Tudyk: “Yeah but you know, Paul Rudd nailed it. He’s perfect. I couldn’t have done that as well. You know, maybe a villain? I think a villain who’s sort of a scattered…”

Rob Keyes: “Off-the rails.”

Alan Tudyk: “Yeah, off-the-rails, insane person who succumbs to his own madness. THAT I can relate to.”

James Gunn has also expressed interest in working with his pal again:

“Alan Tudyk is my friend and I’m always on the lookout for ways to work with him again! Our first two team ups are masterpieces!”

All that remains now is for Marvel to be on board with Tudyk and to find him a part in a future Guardians movie.
