Michael Rookers Shows Yondu’s New Look In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’

Michael Rooker, who plays Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy, has showed off his new look in the upcoming sequel to the first movie.

As you can see, the character is sporting a much more larger headfin (mohawk) in the sequel than in the first movie. Sean Gunn, who plays Kraglin Obfonteri, said that Yondu is going to have an interesting arc in the upcoming movie.

‘There’s a little rumbling amongst the Ravagers, like, ‘Where does Yondu’s allegiance lay here? Is he going soft on Quill?'” Gunn divulged. “So, the Ravagers have to make a decision of what they’re gonna do about Yondu and I think Kraglin is a key part of that.”

We’ll see what happens with Yondu, and how he deals with the Guardians. (MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST MOVIE) At the end of the first movie, it ended with Yondu getting played by Quill because he thought he had the infinity stone, but he got tricked into receiving a cabbage patch kid instead.  It looks like him and Rocket from the first teaser are getting along, as you see those two walking together.

Not much is known about this movie, other than Baby Groot being adorable. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 releases May 5, 2017 (CINCO DE MAYO). Until then enjoy the latest trailer.
