Now that Suicide Squad has been available digitally for a few weeks artist Tina Charad, who worked as a costume graphic illustrator and was principal designer on the film, has shared some new early concept art of unused designs for both Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and Jared Leto’s Joker. Check them out below!
Harley’s costume doesn’t change too drastically when compared to the final version, however in some of the early designs she had a much more noticeable Joker face covering her abdomen. The Joker’s early costumes and some patterns are notably different from what was seen in theaters, and one design features a plethora of different tattoos than what became the final product. What do you think of the pre-production looks? Are you happy they went with what they did, or would you rather something else?
Suicide Squad is now available for purchase on Digital HD and is set to release on Blu-Ray/DVD on December 13th.
