“Flashpoint” Will Continue To Affect Arrowverse After Crossover

Obviously, the “Flashpoint” storyline has been the defining element of The Flash‘s third season, which drew in a respectable amount of viewers; 4.09 million viewers tuned into Tuesday night’s Invasion! episode on The Flash.

However, “Flashpoint” will have a much longer lasting impact. From what it looks, the timeline will no be fully restored any time soon (if ever) and so the characters of the Arrowverse will continue to live knowing that their life once was slightly different.

“‘Arrow’s mid-season finale, there’s actually a fair amount of discussion about Flashpoint, given the fact that you know, essentially, the crossover outed Flashpoint to the Arrow characters besides Felicity,” said Marc Guggenheim, co-runner of Arrow. “They deal with sort of, I think in some humorous ways actually, deal with some of the ramifications. For example, I think Curtis is concerned that maybe he was straight originally, as one example.”

Did you think the Arrowverse did “Flashpoint” justice? Or would you have liked to see it develop more and last longer? Sound off in the comments or on Twitter / Instagram!
