Matt Ryan On His Experience Playing Live Action And Animated Constantine

Matt Ryan, the actor behind Constantine has become extremely well known in the comic book world over the past years. He briefly had his own show, which was followed by a cameo on Arrow, which will be followed by the animated movie Justice League Dark. Throughout all of these adventures as Constantine, Ryan has proved that he is passionate about the character and hopes to portray it more.

If you aren’t convinced that Matt Ryan is devoted to the character yet, his knowledge on the topic should prove his devotion. During Heroes and Villains fest in Atlanta, Ryan was asked how live action Constantine compares to animated constantine, Ryan replied:

“What’s great about it is that you get to see Constantine interacting with characters we didn’t get to see in the live-action TV show – like Zatana, Deadman, Batman, his relationship with Batman is a real funny one. That was a real good fun thing to play.”

Hopefully we will get to see a great portrayal of Constantine, as we have come to expect from Ryan. Justice League Dark will be available for digital download on February 7, 2017.

I’d love to see Ryan reprise his role. Seeing the cameos in Arrow made me miss his show
