‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Reportedly Started Filming Two Weeks Ago

Coming in 2018, Avengers: Infinity War will mark the culmination of the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – exactly ten years after Iron Man started it all. Infinity War has been said to be one of the biggest movies in cinema history, in terms of cast, budget, and production, and as such, it will take a long time to film. While we never got an official notice that principal photography kicked off, Atlanta Filming tweeted that the ensemble flick actually started filming in Atlanta two weeks ago.

Though this account is not an official source, they are usually pretty accurate with their statements and predictions, and the tweet was deleted shortly after it had been posted – another indication that it was true.

Avengers: Infinity War will feature the largest cast of any MCU film to date, as nearly all major characters will appear in it, in addition to a few new ones. The final chapter of the Infinity storyline, it will see the Avengers try to stop the evil titan Thanos from destroying Earth.

Avengers: Infinity War is slated to release on May 4, 2018.
