Catwoman May Not Be In Ben Affleck’s ‘The Batman’

Ever since Ben Affleck’s Batman debuted to great praise from fans in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, audiences have been eager for any bit of news concerning the upcoming solo Batman movie. Written and directed by the award-winning Ben Affleck, who also happens to be playing Batman, the prospects for the film are certainly looking up. Now, in a tweet from Erik Davis, it has been revealed that Catwoman might not be featured in the solo Batman movie. Check it out here:

Affleck’s Live By Night co-star Sienna Miller apparently wanted to play the iconic Batman rogue, but it seems that Affleck or some other affiliate to the Batman movie has told her that Catwoman is not currently scripted in. While this tweet did not set the future of the film in stone, the odds of Catwoman playing a part in the tentatively titled The Batman took a significant dive. However, Davis released a tweet later which stated:

As this tweet contradicts his first, maybe The Batman will feature Catwoman after all; Davis clearly did not intend for his first tweet to be taken as fact.

The Batman currently has no set release date, but Ben Affleck’s Batman will star in Justice League, which debuts on November 17th, 2017 (US).
