James Wan Shares Picture Of Possible ‘Aquaman’ Shooting Location

Fans of the DC Extended Universe got their first glimpse at Jason Momoa’s live-action Aquaman in this spring’s Batman V Superman and then a more detailed look in the first teaser trailer for next year’s DC ensemble flick, Justice League. After making his full-on debut next year, Jason Momoa will portray the king of Atlantis in 2018’s Aquaman solo film, which will be helmed by Conjuring 2 director James Wan.

Wan just recently took to his Instagram to post a picture of what could possibly be a shooting location for what he’s previously called “a swashbuckling action-adventure.

While this photo doesn’t really give us a clue about where exactly that location could be,  Twitter user Karla Schmitt suggests that it is in Lewes, Delaware and a quick search on Google Images makes that seem possible.

Wan also talked about the royal couple of Atlantis, Aquaman, and his wife Mera (played by Amber Heard) who will also make her debut in Justice League.

“I think Amber [Heard] and Jason Momoa, in their moments in ‘Justice League’, [are] going to give the rest of the world a flavor of what their own standalone movie could be. And that is just scratching the surface of what I plan to do.”

Wan is teasing big things here; do you think he’ll get Aquaman right? Sound off in the comments or on Twitter / Instagram!
