Greg Grunberg Joins ‘The Flash’ Season 3

The extremely well known director, and comic book genius Kevin Smith has directed one episode of The Flash in the past, and his second directing shot is coming very soon. Last season he directed the episode titled ‘The Runaway Dinosaur’, and this season he will be directing the highly anticipated ‘Killer Frost’ episode.

The last time that Kevin Smith directed an episode, he brought along his friend Jason Mewes, but this time, the friend he will be bringing along is Greg Grunberg. Greg is a very accomplished actor who has appeared in TV Show’s such as Heroes, and also in movies like Star Trek Beyond, and the most recent Star Wars film.

The role he is being placed in is recurring according to Mashable, so we will be seeing more of him even after this episode.

“Grunberg plays Detective Tom Patterson, who makes his debut in Season 3, episode 7, “Killer Frost,” airing Nov. 22. A gruff, stalwart figure at Central City Police Department, Det. Patterson is unwavering in his commitment to protecting Central City from the dangerous metas that threaten it.”

Grunberg is best known for his role as Matt Parkman, one of the main characters on the super-powered series Heroes as well as the mini-event series, Heroes Reborn. He is also co-hosting a show with Smith right now called Geeking Out, hence the connection for next week’s episode.
