Teasers For ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Released; Shows Kong In Action

With the Kong: Skull Island movie set to premier in theaters early next year, it comes as no surprise that we’re seeing teasers this early following the Comic Con trailer back in July. In the past few days, the official twitter account of the film has released two teasers, one showing the King himself and ending with a screen that read, “2 days” and the ending showing the slogan, “ALL HAIL THE KING #KONGSKULLISLAND”, with the caption of the video reading,”There’s nowhere to hide. Two days. #kongskullisland.” The second tweet is of two skeletons, both presumed to be other apes, inferring that there is, or was, other apes that rivaled Kong. The next screen is similar to the previous one, reading,“1 day,” and the video ending with the same all caps slogan that was in the previous, with the caption of the video reading, “The devils live below us. #kongskullisland.”

“Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific—as beautiful as it is treacherous—unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.”

The film starring Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Toby Kebbell, Tom Wilkinson, and John C. Reilly, and directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, is set to be released in theaters on March 10, 2017
