‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ Is Undergoing Reshoots

Fans can’t be more excited for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.  The original cast and director James Gunn are coming back, with some new additions like Kurt Russell as Ego, Star-Lord’s father, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis. Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula, tweeted out on Nov. 14 that reshoots are currently being done for the upcoming movie. See tweet below.

There’s been a bad wrap surrounding reshoots with films like Suicide Squad and Rogue One. Her hashtags say that this is the easiest reshoot ever, because the movie is already insanely good.  Gillan sounds very confident about the movie, and if the one of the stars of the movie is already this excited, then fans are definitely in for a treat. Apparently Vin Diesel, who voices Groot, was shown an early cut of this movie, and was left speechless.

Reshoots happen for a lot of big budget movies, and are usually done to improve on aspects of the film.  Nobody really knows any plot details regarding this movie, and the first teaser trailer doesn’t show much. The official synopsis just says they are exploring the galaxy, and figuring out the mystery of Peter Quill’s parentage. Until then, people will just have to wait and see.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes out on May 5, 2017.  Are fans excited? Do these reshoots mean the film is in trouble? Which songs do you want in this movie?
