Darth Maul Returns In New Prequel Comic

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace introduced the Sith Lord Darth Maul who quickly became a fan favorite, even though he died so quickly in the movie. While it seemed Maul was gone for good he ended up still being alive, making appearances in the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels TV shows. Lately, Marvel has been releasing Star Wars comic books based on characters ranging from Darth Vader to C-3P0. Now Marvel will turn it’s attention to Darth Maul.

The comic, titled Star Wars: Darth Maul, is set before Episode I. This five-part miniseries will show Darth Maul being trained by Darth Sidious in the ways of the Dark Side. Cullen Bunn (Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe) will be writing the series and Luke Ross (Secret Avengers) will provide the illustrations. The series can be found at comic book stores in February.
