With DC’s Justice League having officially wrapped filming that means that more promotional material might not be far away. One of the stars, Ezra Miller, who will be playing ‘Barry Allen’/’The Flash’ will also be appearing on the silver screen very soon in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and while promoting the movie, Miller was obviously asked about certain elements of Justice League including the dynamic between his character and Batman…
“I think it’s the relationship between someone whose naive and excited and someone whose experienced and jaded. And it’s that sort of seeing each other as reflections of one another and being amused and maybe sometimes annoyed by one another. I think that Bruce and Barry get a kick out of each other because they’re seeing sort of themselves but reflected in this very warped mirror.
Bruce, the aged Batman is everything that being a superhero means you could become in terms of being pretty shut down and seeing all of this horror. He’s like a veteran of the struggle against evil. And Barry is just getting into it, and it seems exciting and very fun. I think they have a lot to learn from each other like in any great friendship, so I think it’s a fascinating relationship.”
Justice League doesn’t hit theatres for another year but back at SDCC in July we got a teaser trailer for the upcoming Warner Brothers/DC movie. One of the best scenes in the teaser was the interaction between Barry Allen and Bruce Wayne. Miller brings up a great point by saying that Barry and Bruce have such contrasting personalities. It’s certainly going to be interesting to see the two characters interact given that Barry appears to be relatively new to working in a team.
From what we’ve seen in the teaser trailer for Justice League and his Suicide Squad cameo, Ezra Miller looks and sounds great as ‘The Flash’ and we can’t wait to see him in action in Justice League before his solo movie.
Justice League hits theatres on November 17th 2017 and currently The Flash hits theatres on March 16th 2018!
