Marvel’s Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, hits theatre in just a few days but thats not the only new thing that comic book fans will be witnessing. Trailer Track is reporting that the next trailer for DC’s Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot will be debuting infront of the movie. Their statement is as follows…
“Deluxe Digital Cinema have confirmed the new trailer has been shipped to North American cinemas this week to play in front of Doctor Strange this weekend! We expect the trailer to land online anytime between now and the end of Thursday – when the first screenings of the film begin.”
Trailer Track’s original report puts the trailer’s length at 2 minutes 24 seconds. It’s standard practice for new trailers to be released online just before they hit theatres. The previous Wonder Woman trailer looked great and I personally didn’t have a big problem with Gal Gadot’s performance in Batman V Superman, so hopefully she blows everyone away next year.
If Wonder Woman ends up being a critical and financial success for Warner Brothers then it’s very likely that they will be in talks with the film’s director, Patty Jenkins, to return for future movies. There seems to be a slight distrust between the DC movies and the fans given that they release, in some fans opinions, mediocre movies and then release far better ultimate cuts a few months later. As comic book movie fans all we can hope is that DC brings us a great Wonder Woman movie.
Doctor Strange hits theatres on November 4th 2017 and you can catch Wonder Woman in theatres on June 9th 2017!
