Tim Miller Leaves Director’s Chair For ‘Deadpool’ Sequel

The success of the first Deadpool film was due to everyone on board the project taking part and putting in their best efforts to make it the amazing comic book movie adaptation that it was. Ever since the catastrophe that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds advocated for a chance to once again portray the Merc with a Mouth, and he didn’t disappoint. Reynolds was among the producers of the film as well, and having multiple roles in bringing the film to life allowed him to ensure the character was done right this time around. Now that we will be getting a second movie, news has come from Deadline that the original director, Tim Miller, will not be returning.

The reason for this being that Miller and Reynolds had creative differences for the film, it should be a bit of relief that Miller was the one to leave. Ryan Reynolds has a love for this character and is essentially the real life version of Wade Wilson, so it’s only fair that his visions for the direction of the movie have the biggest pull in how they progress.  No news yet on a replacement director, but stay tuned for updates!

What do you guys think? Do you think the quality of the Deadpool sequel will suffer without Miller? Who do you see as a fit replacement? Let us know in the comments as well as on our Twitter and Instagram!
