‘The Walking Dead’ Adds To Its Universe With New Miniseries

This Sunday, we’ll finally find out who got the worst of Negan’s bat, starting off this season hopefully with a bang. But that’s not the only thing we can expect this year from the franchise this year. AMC has announced that we will be getting a new miniseries called Fear The Walking Dead: Passage, with one of the episodes already online. Check it out:

It’s only 50 seconds long, so we can’t really expect much story to come through. We do know that the story will involve an injured woman who is charged with keeping an intimidating survivor safe from the walkers in return for help. A pretty basic story, as far as most zombie stories go. We don’t know if any characters from Fear will be featured in the 15-minute series, which has precedence from Flight 462, when Nick appeared in the miniseries. Also unknown is how the miniseries will tie into the main show. Hopefully it’s more substantial than how it went down with Flight 462, which more or less disappointed fans.

The series will be in the same format as the other TWD miniseries Flight 462, which did pretty well with the viewers. It will be aired during The Walking Dead commercial breaks every week, and the episodes will be found online after it’s initial airing.

What do you think of this new development? Will you be watching Passage, or will you be skipping over?  Let us know in the comments below, or on Twitter or Instagram!
