Scott Derrickson Wants A Doctor Strange-Rocket-Groot Team Up

One thing fans can certainly look forward to in Avengers: Infinity War and its currently untitled sequel is all our favourite heroes fighting side by side on the big screen. There will surely be some interesting match-ups in Infinity War regarding who fights along side who. We know that the main 6 Avengers will be returning and it’s all but been confirmed that we’ll see other heroes such as the full Guardians of The Galaxy roster in the mix too.

The director of Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange, Scott Derickson, has given his two cents on the matter and has revealed who he wants to see fight along side each other in Avengers 3 and 4. Derrickson stated that…

“Strange and Rocket [Racoon] would be an interesting encounter.”

…before adding Groot to that encounter as well.

Benedict Cumberbatch himself has officially confirmed that he will be appearing in one, if not both, of the next two Avengers movies and Vin Diesel revealed in a Facebook live stream that the Guardians will be included in Avengers: Infinity War so this team up is looking more likely than ever.

There will be A LOT of characters showing up to fight in this movie but the Russo brothers did such an amazing job with Captain America: Civil War and making sure that every hero got their moment, that I wouldn’t be concerned about every hero getting their chance to shine.

You can catch Avengers: Infinity War in theatres on May 4th 2018 and its currently untitled sequel, Avengers 4, on May 3rd 2019!
