Kelsey Grammar Wants To Do A Beast Solo Movie

The last time we saw Kelsey Grammar’s incarnation of ‘Hank McCoy’/’Beast’ was a quick cameo at the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past, but the last time we saw him in action was back in 2006 in X-Men: The Last Stand. Since then, Nicholas Hoult has taken over the younger version of the character and has done so incredibly well.

Kelsey Grammar, in an interview with Comic Book, commented on the use of his incarnation of the character…

Beast was a riot, I think he was underused…I believe that they should have done another Beast movie, you know with my Beast.

It’s incredibly unlikely, but not impossible, that Fox will announce a ‘Beast’ movie starring Kelsey Grammar, giving that they have been focusing more on the younger cast. I personally loved Kelsey’s version of ‘Beast’ and if they announced a solo movie tomorrow, I would be excited, but it seems as though they are going to continue on with the younger cast. It seems as though Hugh Jackman’s final ‘Wolvrine’ outing, Logan, will be the last appearance of any of the original cast, but that is pure speculation. We only saw ‘Beast’ in action in the last act of X-Men: The Last Stand so we can see where Grammar is coming from when he says his character was under-used.
