‘The Walking Dead’: Carol Will Still Have Suicidal Thoughts In Season Seven

In The Walking Dead‘s season six, Carol (Melissa McBride) left Alexandria and her friends because she felt like she wasn’t able to kill anyone anymore, and her argument was “if you love someone, you’ll have to kill for them”.

Soon after she left the group she immediately came across some of Negan’s men, who she had to kill. Out of her mind, she continued walking around until she was eventually found by Morgan. This was when fans learned that Carol was seriously suicidal, and while at The Walking Dead‘s panel at NYCC, McBride revealed that this development will only spiral down further in season seven.

“Every step she’s taken up to this moment has just devastated her up to this point. What is it about this world that makes us want to survive so much? That’s a huge question.”

In the comics, Carol does not recover from this state of mind and eventually ends up committing suicide by letting a Walker eat her alive. Where do you think the show’s writers will take her? Sound off in the comments or on Twitter!
