Diane Lane Talks Jason Momoa In ‘Justice League’

Diane Lane has been one of the many important characters in the DCEU since Man of Steel released in 2013. Lane plays Martha Kent, the adopted mother of Superman (Henry Cavill). After playing a prominent role in the Superman solo movie, Lane later reprised her role in this year’s Batman v Superman and is scheduled to appear in the upcoming Justice League film.

Lane is also known for her Broadway acting. She will be in the upcoming production of Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert recently had Lane on as a guest where she talked about one of her other cast members on set of Justice League. This cast member is of course Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman in the film. Lane told a funny story about Momoa in his trailer during filming. Here are her comments:

Jason Momoa, he’s our Aquaman. I didn’t get to meet him, but I heard out of my trailer him getting ready for his scene. That’s how he was preparing. I’m inside trying to say, ‘Save the cherry orchard!’ and learn my lines for Chekhov and out the window I’m hearing this death metal while he’s getting to do whatever he does in the film, which I can’t wait to see him do.”

We know that Momoa was pretty crazy on set after the behind-the-scenes featurette was released two days ago. It’s no surprise that Momoa was just as crazy in his trailer as well. Another important item to note from these comments is that Martha Kent and Aquaman do not share any scenes in the film. While many didn’t expect them to, this is confirmation that not every member of the Justice League will meet Superman’s mother.

Justice League releases November 17th, 2017 and stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Henry Cavill.
