After months and months of waiting we finally have the official title and poster for the third wolverine film starring Hugh Jackman in his final bout as The Wolverine. Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold took to social media to release the poster and one page of the screenplay. Check out the poster below…
As seen above the third film will be titles Logan. This is a great title, very simple but quite dramatic at the same time and it’s nice to see that it’s not just ‘Wolverine 3’. In the poster we see Hugh Jackman’s claws and his hand being clutched buy a small child. This could potentially be a tease for X-23 appearing, which fits with some rumours that have been circulating in the past few months.
James Mangold, the director of the film also tweeted out page 2 of the screenplay, check it out below…
The above photo confirms a lot of other reports that were going around that fit with the ‘Old Man Logan’ storyline. In Logan, Wolverine will have diminished healing and it seems as though he generally will be weaker than in previous movies, but don’t expect him to be tired out easily.
In response to a fan, Mangold put out the following tweet which could mean a potential trailer dropping later on today…
@Law_of_4 Today is the day your questions start to get answered.

This isn’t confirmation that a trailer will drop but its definitely possible and it would be great to get the poster and the trailer on the same day so definitely keep your eyes peeled!
Logan hits theatres on March 3rd 2017!
