The Third Wolverine Film Will Have A Much Different Tone According To Hugh Jackman

We are all eagerly awaiting the release of the third Wolverine film and the last time we will see Hugh Jackman in this role. He has been the best at what he does for sixteen years, and it will be sad to see him go. In terms of the upcoming film, we don’t know a whole lot. Rumors have been circulating that it will adapt the Old Man Logan storyline, which would make sense as set photos of Jackman and Patrick Stewart have been released in which both are sporting scraggly facial hair (Stewart’s being snow white and Jackman’s with a bit of gray in it). Although we haven’t gotten any plot details, Hugh Jackman spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the tone of the film:

“There’s going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so. That’s all I’ll say. I’m not good. I’m the kind of person who tells everybody everything. Basically, it’s going to be very different. Very different in tone and hopefully different to anything we’ve done.”

Does this mean a teaser or possibly even a full-length trailer? Hard to say at this point, but this could mean that we’ll know more about the movie very soon. We know that it will be rated R, and Simon Kinberg has stated that it will have sort of a Western feel to it. More news should unfold in the near future, so stay tuned for updates!
