Top Cow Promotes Eclipse To Ongoing; New Art Revealed

Top Cow, a rapidly growing publisher in the comic book world, has officially announced some new developments for their Eclipse series. It has officially been promoted to ongoing status, due to the great success of their debut issue last month.

Eclipse is written by Top Cow newcomer  Zack Kaplan and illustrated by Giovanni Timpanno, a more experienced artist of many companies. This news isn’t only extremely exciting for fans of Top Cow, but also for the wonderful creators over on the other side.

This excitement is especially displayed by Top Cow president Matt Hawkins, who had a lot to say about the series.

“Happy to see ‘Eclipse’ find a strong audience and warrant a continuing series! The first arc is amazing and the outline I just read for the second is even stronger.”

This sounds very promising for the future of the series, because not only are fans interested, but the president of the company himself is interested and excited for more.

As well as this, Timpiano and Kaplan had some words on the project, including a very promising response from Timpiano.

‘Eclipse’s’ characters and its world are like children to me, so I’m excited to continue to spend time with them. After a wonderful response from the readers, there is an even stronger incentive to do better than what we did in the first arc. Fear the sun!”

We were also treated to a preview for the next issues, including the covers for the next two.
