The actor started filming back in July so it’s clear that he will have a large role in the project. In a previous interview, the actor revealed that he worked a lot with Cate Blanchett, who was cast as the villainous ‘Hela’, during his time on set. Being a Marvel movie, Urban could not give many details on his role in the plot of the film but he said that his character has a great arc. In the comics, Skurge ends up switching sides and sacrifices himself while defending Asgard so perhaps that could play out in the movies. Fans will have to wait until November next year to find out exactly what arc Urban’s character will have.
Thor: Ragnarok hits theatres on October 27th 2017 (UK) and November 3rd 2017 (US)!
