For those who do not know, today was Sony’s Big Playstation announcement event, and they delivered hard with announcements that no one was expecting. One of those announcements being the PS4 Pro Share new feature.
The new PS4 Share will now capture at a powerful 4k screenshots, and now will capture 1080p at 30 frames per second when using the Playstation Share feature. So if you are left wondering what this means, I’ll give a brief explanation. Basically, PS4 has the top of the line recording system when it comes to their Share feature, which the Xbox One has something similar. But this is not for their broadcasting feature, they are two separate entities.
For streaming, the PS4 Pro will broadcast at 1080p with 60 fps on Youtube and DailyMotion, but that depends on your internet also, while Twitch will only support 1080p at 30 fps. If you are wondering what the original PS4 records, it would capture at 1080p and record and 720p at 30 fps. It may not seem like it, but it is a huge upgrade.
The PS4 Pro hits the market this November at $399.
