Stanley Tucci was one of the very few standouts in the last Transformers film, Age of Extinction, and is one of the more enjoyable actors to watch in Hollywood these days. He portrayed the character of Joshua Joyce – the man in charge of KSI who began the construction of man-made Transformers, hence the films subtitle.
Tucci confirmed that he will be reprising his role in the fifth installment of the massive cash cow franchise, Transformers: The Last Knight, while he was at Deauville receiving a tribute for his long and successful career.
With rumors that some of the film may take place back in the days of King Arthur, it remains to be seen how Tucci’s character will fit into the new plot, and just how significant his influence will be.
Transformers: The Last Knight is currently filming under the direction of Michael Bay and will roll into theatres on June 23, 2017.
