Celebrated composer/scorer John Williams will be returning for another Indiana Jones movie. Most people won’t recall his name and think that his casting in the movie isn’t important but every important movie-goer knows that a movie is as good as its composer. A scene is dictated by its tone and the tone comes from the music playing in the background. John Williams is famous for composing a majority of the franchise and is credited with the theme song, which has become a classical icon in the movie industry. The man who confirmed his return to the franchise, Steven Spielberg, also initiated some interest in Williams returning to the the Star Wars franchise, which is also pretty well known for its composers and legendary music. John Williams was quoted saying he’d love to do it but only because he doesn’t want anybody else writing music for Daisy Ridley. The empowering icon plays Rey in the franchise, the next Jedi-to-be. Would you like to see (or hear) John Williams in the Star Wars franchise? Who would you recommend scoring for the next installment? Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to release on December 15, 2017.
