Two Fox/Marvel Projects Get Their Release Dates Moved

Recently, Fox has had to adjust their release schedule because Dylan O’Brien got injured while filming Maze Runner: The Death Cure. According to Deadline, the first untitled Marvel/Fox project was moved from January 12, 2018 to March 2, 2018 and the second from July 13, 2018 to June 29, 2018.

Seeing as a Deadpool sequel has already been given the go-ahead, the film that would seem to be the obvious choice for the earlier release date. We know that Cable will be introduced in that film as well, which could make way for the rumored X-Force movie? Though the films would be released only a few months apart, it wouldn’t be impossible. A while back it was stated that Avengers: Infinity War  parts I and II would be filmed simultaneously, so why couldn’t Fox do something similar with these two installments to their universe? Another title that has been tossed around lately is the New Mutants film, which has been talked about to start filming at the beginning of next year, so it also wouldn’t be unreasonable to say that one of those slots could be for that.
