RUMOR: George Miller Eyed To Direct ‘Green Lantern Corps’

Ever since the rumors of George Miller being eyed by Warner Bros. for a film, fans have been wondering what film could the Mad Max director be helming. Well, according to Heroic Hollywood we might have an answer. Like all rumors, it’s best to take this with a grain of salt as these type of reports don’t always turn out to be true. The film that George Miller is rumored to be in takes of directing: Green Lantern Corps. Now Green Lantern Corps is currently scheduled as being one of the DCEU’s last films, for at least this “Phase One”, currently slated to arrive in 2020.

Last week we heard reports that Green Lantern Corps would feature three, male leads: Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner. Earlier reports had stated that George Miller was up for Man of Steel 2 but apparently those plans fell through. Whatever the case, Warner Bros. wants George Miller and we can’t blame them. The man knows how to craft fantastic action sequences as well as fleshing out fantastic characters like Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road. So what do you think?
